PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of false color and reduction in coloring in the case of estimating a signal value at all pixel positions from image data obtained by an image pickup device such as a single board CCD. SOLUTION: A signal value calculation means 22 obtaining image data S0 comprising Cy, Mg, Ye, Gr signals from the single board CCD 1 applies low pass filtering processing to the Cy, Mg, Ye, Gr signals to obtain the Cy, Mg, Ye, Gr signals at all pixel positions on the basis of difference between the signal values after the filtering processing and the Cy, Mg, Ye, Gr signals at the pixel positions having the signal values. In this case, when the colors of a photographed scene are poor, an LPF changeover means 23 uses a low pass filter with a lower cut frequency band and when the colors of a photographed scene are rich, the LPF changeover means 23 uses a low pass filter with a higher cut frequency band. |
