PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for transmitting/receiving information capable of preventing a user from reading information from an unknown third person. SOLUTION: The system promotes a user at a terminal to input identification information of the other user authorized to receive information, receives the inputted identification information of the other user with a server, and registers the received identification information of the other user as an information reception authorized user in relation to the identification information of the user. The system promotes the user at the terminal to input information to a predetermined user and identification information of the predetermined user, receives the inputted information to the predetermined user with the server, and stores the information in relation to the identification information of the predetermined user. The server makes the terminal of the predetermined user display the information in relation to the identification information of the predetermined user as long as the identification information of the user, an originator of the information, is registered as the information reception authorized user.
