PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for cards which can perform always exact positioning even when the positioning at the time of mounting is carried out by hand method. SOLUTION: In case the connector is mounted in a substrate, positioning of the width direction of the connector main part 10 is performed by carrying out position indexing of each positioning mark 11b of the connector main part 10 with the standard position A by the side of the substrate, respectively. At that time, since positioning marks 11b are prepared in the both ends of the connector main part 10 respectively, by carrying out position indexing of each the positioning marks 11b with the standard position A respectively, it is positioned so that the direction of the connector main part 10 may also become parallel to the insertion direction of the card 1.
