Laminated material for maintaining the function of an electrical unit in case of an external fire containing at least two materials comprising a first, moisture absorbent and heat insulating material and a second material which releases moisture on heating. An independent claim is included for a switch box which includes a housing with a wall which is coated at least in sections (sic) with a composite material with one or more typical characteristics.
