PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS transaction managing method and a POS transaction managing system for reading a two-dimensional code image displayed as an image on a display part of a portable telephone and preferentially transmitting converted and outputted two-dimensional code data to a barcode scanner terminal of an existing POS terminal. SOLUTION: The POS transaction managing system is constituted of a POS terminal 1 connected to a barcode scanner 3, a shop server 2; an EC server 5; a public communication channel N; a portable telephone 6, a two-dimensional scanner unit 4 interrupt-connected between the POS terminal 1 and the barcode scanner 3 to and provided with a portable read means 41 having a portable mounting window 41a for mounting the display part 63 of the portable telephone 6 for converting and outputting image data, a two-dimensional code demodulation means 42, a data conversion means 45, and an input/output selection means 46 for preferentially transmitting two-dimensional code data of a prescribed code form to the POS terminal 1. |
