<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried wire protective pipe which is made of synthetic resin and has properties equivalent to those of a buried wire protective pipe made of polyvinyl chloride, particularly superior heat-resistant properties. SOLUTION: This buried wire protective pipe is made of polyphenylene ether based resin composition containing polyphenylene ether based resin, polystyrene based resin, and a flame-retardant agent. The polystyrene based resin is at least one selected from a group including homopolystyrene, high impact polystyrene (impact-resistant polystyrene) modified with a rubber component, and polystyrene having a syndiotactic structure. The composition may further contain a dripping-proof agent.</p> |
