PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television monitor device which makes it possible to see through turbid water from a ship or land and displays an objective with very small distortion. SOLUTION: The television monitor device 1a (1b) displays a picture photographed by a television camera 2 on a monitor screen 4. The television camera 2 is mounted at a top of a rod 5 and covered with a hollow container 6 (20) which is made at least partially of a soft transparent film, and a transparent substance 7 such as water and air is charged in the container 6 (20).
