PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording system for an optical disk, which is provided with a preamplifier which is not saturated by a reproduced signal based on reflected light reflected from the optical disk at the time of recording. SOLUTION: The preamplifier controls the gain of the reproduced signal of the optical pickup provided with a laser element 15 for emitting a light beam to irradiate the optical disk and a photodetector 21 for detecting the reflected light of the light beam reflected by the signal recording face of the optical disk to output the reproduced signal, and the preamplifier is provided with a low pass filter 27 which performs low pass filtering processing of the reproduced signal, and the gain of the reproduced signal reflected from the optical disk 14 at the time of recording a signal on the optical disk 14 is limited by the low pass filtering processing of the low pass filter 27 to secure a dynamic range of the reproduced signal.
