A package for a disposable ostomy receiving bag, said package comprising a first compartment capable of accommodating a (fresh) o stomy receiving bag a nd a second compartment capable of accommodating a used ostomy receiving bag, said second compartment being sealable so as to confine the receiving bag facilitates the handling of fresh and used bags and renders the user more independent of the availability of a lavatory.
