A filter arrangement uses shredded, open pore, synthetic plastic foam matrix, held between porous fabric layers. The top layer of gauze and the bottom one of felt are sewn together through the foam. The whole is enclosed in a tough coating and secured with thread in the shape of a tube. The construction is light and is used in soil drainage. |
