FUEL CELL DEVICE AND POWER GENERATING FACILITY

A power generation unit 20 of a fuel cell device is cooled by a reaction gas heat exchanger 24 by using the fuel and air introduced for the operation of the power generation unit 20. Therefore no air for cooling needs to be introduced separately, and only the compressed air necessary for the operation is introduced. As a result, the power output with respect to the air volume is increased by reducing the power of the air force-feeding source for the fuel cell device. The power output/efficiency of the fuel cell device and the output/efficiency of the power generating facility are improved.
