The first hinge part (6) is pivotally joined to the second part (2) using a bar (4) round part of leaf (2) to limit its pivot angle. The linear movement of the bar (4) is controlled by a disk (9) in part (2) complete with eccentric bolt (13) to engage an entry in the bar (4), the disk guided itself in a recess in the hinge part (2) and engaging a second slot (14) in the bar (4). The bar is pivoted at one end to the part (6) via a knee lever. The hinge has a fitted braking system.
