PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-sensitizing type solar cell, which can obtain high energy conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: It is the photo-sensitizing type solar cell constituted with a n-type semiconductor electrode 4, which has a color element, an opposite electrode 5, and a gel electrolyte 10, which consists of the electrolyte containing iodine and a gelling agent. And, the above gelling agent contains at least one kind of polymer chosen from the group, which consists of a 1st polymer, in which polysulfonic acid is cross-linked by diatomic or more metal ion, a 2nd polymer, in which polycarbonic acid is cross-linked by diatomic or more metal ion, a 3rd polymer, in which the 4th class ammonium salt of the polysulfonic acid is cross-linked by diatomic or more metal ion, and a 4th class ammonium salt of polycarbonic acid is cross-linked by diatomic or more metal ion. |
