PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity for continuously connecting a line with a mail server. SOLUTION: The line of a printer 1 is not ordinarily connected to a mail server 4. When a receiving demand command of e-mail is inputted from a client PC 3 connected thereto via Internet communication network 2, the line with the mail server 4 is connected and the e-mail stored in the mail server 4 and addressed to oneself is received. The e-mail is analyzed, a printing command described in the e-mail is extracted, the printing command is executed, and the printing is started. |
