PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high frequency heating device prevented residual food from sticking or intruding inside a wave guide or to the periphery of a power supply opening, or inside a gap between a power supply opening cover and inner wall of a heating chamber. SOLUTION: The high frequency heating device comprises a heating chamber 20 heating an object 26, a high frequency oscillator 22 supplying high frequency to the heating chamber 20, a power supply opening 21 formed at a side plate 21a of the heating chamber 20 supplying the high frequency oscillated from the high frequency oscillator 22 in the heating chamber 20, and a cover 1 for the power supply opening formed so as to cover the power supply opening 21. The cover 1 for the power supply opening is detachment freely mounted to the side plate 21a of the heating chamber 20, and a foreign substance intrusion preventing plate 1a is inserted into an insertion opening 2 formed at the peripheral part of the power supply opening 21 when the cover 1 for the power supply opening is mounted to the side plate 21a of the heating chamber 20.
