PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch for a keyboard. SOLUTION: This key switch includes a key cap 211 and an elastic body to support the key cap 211 so as to elastically ascend and descend, and the elastic body is structured by a band-shaped structural body. Its both end parts are rotatably supported on a base 215, its center part 212a is protruded so as to be brought into contact with the lower surface of the key cap 211, and a curved surface part 212b having a curvature opposite to that of the center part 212a is formed between them. By this structure, the height of the elastic body can be made lower than a conventional one, and a keyboard unit can be further slimmed.
