PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a musical composition to be reproduced or its substitute to be automatically played by using an alternative musical source when data cannot be corrected even by rereading of the data, error correcting code or the like at the time of reproducing a CD. SOLUTION: When the musical composition which cannot be normally reproduced due to a flaw or the like exists at the time of reproducing the CD 10 by a CD reproducing apparatus 20, ISRC of the musical composition is supplied to a computer 40, a correspondence to the supplied ISRC is selected from musical sources 51 held on the computer. Thereby the musical composition which cannot be normally reproduced or its substitute is reproduced by the selected musical source held on the computer instead of reproduction by the CD.
