PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information generating method and a network information processing system that can surely reproduce still picture information in cross-reference with a moving picture after seeking the moving picture. SOLUTION: The information generating method includes the steps of: recording the still picture information displayed on a plurality of display devices synchronously with moving picture/audio information from a moving picture/audio input device together with a reproduction management list and selecting a display pattern of the reproduction image depending on the number of display devices so as to reproduce and display a plurality of the still picture information on the same screen at the same time; reproducing the moving picture/audio information and the still picture information depending on a recorded time sequence; collating reproduction time information attached to the moving picture/audio information with time management information included in the reproduction management list when the moving picture/audio information is reproduced in a seek mode and retrieving the still picture information whose reproduction time is coincident with the reproduction time of the moving picture/ audio information at the end of seeking; and reproducing the retrieved still picture information.
