PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card system having a controller selecting one of multiple operation voltages and supplying power to an IC card with simpler and more inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: The IC card system is provided with an IC card having at least one detection electrode which can be grounded and the controller selecting the operation voltage required for operating the IC card in accordance with the voltage of the detection electrode and supplying it. Thus, the appropriate voltage is selected from the multiple operation voltages and power can be supplied to the IC card with the simple and inexpensive constitution of the IC card system. |
