PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of image reading performance due to deformation and displacement caused by heat generation at a mounting part of an image reading sensor. SOLUTION: A sensor housing 11, its extending parts 12, a holding frame 15, and its female screw projecting parts 16 and spindle parts 17 for positioning are molded integrally with the same material. Because the respective parts are made from the same resin material and have the same coefficient of linear expansion, even though the respective parts are thermally conducted with generated heat of a light source provided in the sensor housing 11 due to this integral molding, the extends of deformations by temperature rise become the same to prevent a biased deformation from occurring, and accordingly, distortion and damage on each of the parts can be prevented from occurring.
