PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature insulator for rotating electric machine capable of being smoothly attached to a core. SOLUTION: A coil is formed by winding a wire around pole teeth 7a via the insulator 27 which comprises the plurality of pole teeth 7a radially arranged facing a magnet, wherein slots are formed between the adjacent pole teeth 7a and slot inlets are opened between the adjacent pole teeth 7a on the surface facing the magnet, and which covers a coil end surface 32 and both of the side surfaces of the pole teeth 7a. In the insulator 27, that is, the armature insulator for rotating electric machine composed of a coil end 27b formed in the radial direction corresponding to the pole teeth 7a and inserting parts 27c covering a slot inner wall surface integrally formed on both sides of the respective coil ends 27b, the plurality of inserting parts 63 distant from each other, of the inserting parts 27c, protrude in the inserting direction from other inserting parts.
