<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital broadcast receiver which makes it possible to speedily confirm the contents of a currently broadcasted program through zapping or multi-screen display. SOLUTION: While a viewer receives and views a desired digital broadcast, a 2nd tuner 11 receives a specified program sequence, a 2nd MPEG demultiplexer 12 extracts the video data of the specified program sequence of each transmission channel, and a 2nd MPEG video decoder 13 decodes the video data into a digital video signal, and the decoded digital video signal is stored as a program display screen signal in a 1st memory 14 by at least one screen, program by program, and the program display screen signal of a single program or of a plurality of programs stored in the 1st memory 14 is shown through multi-screen display.</p> |
