An infusion device (10) includes a disc-shaped housing (12) that is made from a biocompatible material. The housing (12) contains a reservoir (13) for holding a volume of infusion medium, such as a medication to be administered to the patient. The inlet structure (20) is coupled in flow communication with the reservoir(13), to allow the reservoir to be filled or re-filled. The housing (12) has an outlet through which the infusion medium may be expelled.
