FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: raw material should be dried to obtain fragile state and reduced. Hydrolysis of reduced raw material is carried out with hydrochloric acid solution at pH 2.0-4.0 for 2-3 h at 50-60 C. Then one should rinse plant mass with water till neutral reaction and extract pectin for 3-4 h at 50-60 C with sodium hydroxide solution of 0.5-1.0% concentration followed by neutralization of plant mass with citric acid, its drying and reduction up to power-like state. Moreover, it is possible to obtain pectin-containing product out of sea grass with the complex of its biologically active substances, protein substances, tannins and fiber. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
