PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor which delivers high output without increase in the body size thereof. SOLUTION: The brushless motor 11 is so constituted that the relation expressed as P=14n and T=12n (where, (n) is an integer not less than 1) holds between the number of poles P of a magnet 9 and the number T of teeth 14a to 14l. In the motor 11 thus constituted, the teeth 14a to 14l are allocated in succession two by two to phase U, phase V, and phase W. The center angleθ1 between ones 14a, 14c, 14e, 14g, 14i, and 14k of the pairs of the teeth allocated to each phase is so set as to satisfyθ1=(160 deg.×2/T). The positions of the teeth 14a to 14l are determined so that the center angleθ2 of the others 14b, 14d, 14f, 14h, 14j, and 14l of the pairs of the teeth fall within the range of (360 deg./P)<=θ2<(360 deg./T). |
