PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can exclude the influence of the quantity of incident light from a viewfinder and can inspect a pixel defect with good operability. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is equipped with a light shielding means (13) which prevents a light beam from a viewfinder (18) from being made incident reversely on an image pickup optical system (1, 2, 3) and makes it possible to manually open and close an optical path in a viewfinder optical system (14) and a display output means which makes a display means (12) output an alarm urging the closure of the optical path by the light shielding means to a display means (12) prior to the start if the inspection of an image defect. |
