PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inconvenience such as the deterioration in a response of on-line processing without restricting a batch job more than necessary in a computer system for processing the on-line processing and the batch job in parallel. SOLUTION: This system executes the batch job by a batch processing part 11 and the on-line processing by an on-line processing part 12 in parallel to a common database DB, and is provided with a monitor 16 for monitoring an executing state of the on-line processing by the on-line processing part 12, and a batch control part 15 for setting a parameter being a control condition at batch job executing time by the batch processing part 11 on the basis of a monitoring result by the monitor 16, and promotes the on-line processing without restricting the batch job more than necessary by changing the parameter according to an occurrence state when a standby state of the on-line processing is caused.
