PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact structure of a light bulb socket which can enlarge space clearance and creep distance through reducing occupied space and minimized contact structure, further improve safety of a socket, and, moreover, exerts enough performance in prevention of thermal deformation, excellent in adaptability to size allowance of an electrode terminal of a light bulb. SOLUTION: The contact structure of the bulb socket for mounting a light bulb having electrode terminals of two-pole protruding type is a contact body 21 of elastic metal consisting of and a pair of arc-shaped side pieces 23 equipped with a pair of electrode seat pieces 22 in contact with the electrode terminals of the light bulb, and integrated with a pair of electrode seat pieces 22, and a U-shaped spring piece 24 combining the pair of the arc-shaped side pieces 23 together to give them a spring property and equipped with a conductive cable connecting part 24a and an auxiliary spring body 26 of elastic metal provided with a pair of arc-shaped outer package pieces 27 insertion-mounted at the outside of the pair of arc-shaped side pieces 23 and a U-shaped auxiliary spring piece 28 combining the pair of the arc-shaped outer package pieces together to give them a spring property each insertion-mounted on a pair of electrode hole parts fitted to a socket main body 2 of an insulation body.
