PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squirrel-cage rotor which allows reduction in manufacturing cost and the enhancement of each of assembly. SOLUTION: The squirrel-cage rotor comprises a rotor core which incorporates magnets in gaps between a squirrel-cage core and a shaft core in the axial direction; a plurality of conductors respectively inserted into grooves of the rotor core; and an end ring. The squirrel-cage core and the shaft core are integrally joined with each other by fastening portions formed in the gaps.
