<p>A cleaning assembly for wood, metal or plastic containers has a horizontal conveyor (27) with a rotating spiral coil drive (1). The coil is positioned just below the conveyer plane (27) with the tips of the spiral just above the plane and engaging in the edges of the inverted containers. The conveyer has one or more spirals operating in parallel. The cleaning assembly forms part of a washing, impregnation, disinfecting or drying process.</p> |
