<p>A radio communication apparatus includes a control unit and registration unit for registering an ID inherent to a device. The control unit performs switching as follows for line connection in the Bluetooth BT communication mode. A parent device determines whether business unit identification information received from a child device is particular information. When the information is determined to be particular information, communication is performed in another radio communication standard local company mode and when the information is determined not to be particular information, communication is performed in the BT standard. With this simple configuration, it is possible to perform a long-distance communication of a more preferable sound quality by using an error processing function with a communication partner capable of performing CDL communication of local company mode. Even when the information is not particular information, speech communication can be performed by a BT data format capable of a short-distance communication of normal sound quality.</p> |
