Imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidines represented by the general formula ‖ have excellent control activity against plant diseases: ‖ wherein R1 and R2 are each C1-C6 alkyl which may be substituted with one or more members selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 alkoxy, C2-C8 dialkylamino, C1-C4 alkylthio, C2-C5 alkoxycarbonyl, cyano and halogen, or the like, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded may form a group derived from a 3- to 8-membered heterocycle R3 is halogeno or C1-C4 alkyl and Ar is phenyl which may be substituted with a halogen atom or the like.
