The invention relates to a data storage device comprising a database, called an itinerary database, containing at least one data record, called the tourist itinerary arc. Each tourist itinerary arc corresponds to at least one part of the geographical area and comprises data relating to (i) cartographic characteristics of the tourist itinerary arc and (ii) activity characteristics associated with the part of the geographical area corresponding to the itinerary arc. The inventive method consists in extracting data from the itinerary arcs of the device according to a user's detection criterion in order to create a journey sheet providing a tourist movement itinerary which is associated with a multimedia tour guide. Subsequently, the journey sheet is used by a guide device according to the invention. |
