PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a member which opens and closes the shutter of a cartridge to securely access the shutter with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A mechanism which opens and closes the shutter 16 of a cartridge 10 which contains a recording medium 12 and has the shutter 16 opening and closing opening parts 14 and 15 for exposing the recording medium to the outside is equipped with a tray 150 into which the cartridge is inserted and which moves between a draw-out position and a draw-in position, a holder 210 which supports the tray movably, and a shutter opening/closing member 220 equipped with engagement parts 221 and 222 which are formed of leaf spring materials, fitted to the holder, and projected into the tray through an opening part 154 formed on the tray to engage with the shutter.
