PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge and so on which enhances the strength of disk cartridge and simplifies the structure of disk drive device. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge is provided with a cartridge case 12 in which a disk storage chamber 16 is formed by superposing an upper shell 13 and a lower shell 15 and shutter members 19a, 19b which open and close opening parts 17, 18 disposed on the cartridge case 12 in order to expose one part of the disk storage chamber 16. A chuck ring 33 formed by a magnetic body which is attracted by magnetic force of a magnet 97 disposed on a turn table 81 which is inserted into the disk storage chamber 16 from the opening parts 17, 18 is freely movably supported on a nearly central part of the inside of the upper shell 13.
