The invention relates to a vertically sliding window (1) comprising an outer frame (2) and at least one window leaf (3) associated with the outer frame (2). Said window leaf (3) comprises at least one window pane (4) and is guided in a vertically displaceable manner along the outer frame (2) in lateral guiding rails, in the assembled state. The invention is characterised in that the outer frame (2) is provided with at least one drive unit which is coupled to the window leaf (3) in such a way that said window leaf (3) can be vertically displaced in a longitudinal manner by means of the drive unit. Advantageously, the inventive window (1) having window leaves (3) of any weight, any size and any protective effect can be actuated manually, and preferably by means of a motor, with reduced effort due to a drive unit which is embodied in a corresponding manner. |
