<p>The invention relates to a transport container for biological material which comprises a main body (1) in the form of an open container divided into compartments and a cover (2) which in the position of use constitutes a door and in the position of transport constitutes a lid. Also described is an accessory for a transport container according to claims 1 to 5 in the form of a covered box (6) of paperboard, cardboard or the like for the transport of biological samples, for example, blood samples, wherein the box is equipped internally with a liquid-absorbent and/or porous lining, that externally it is equipped with a coating of a liquid-impermeable material and that it is equipped with an internal fitting (9) in the form of a cardboard stand with star cut-outs for test and sample tubes and/or bottles (8), wherein the box, lining, coating and internal fitting are of a safely disposable or discardable material.</p> |
