PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup in which the heat radiation effect of a light emitting element is excellent and the assembly/adjustment are facilitated. SOLUTION: A heat radiation plate 2 is disposed at the bottom surface part of a frame-like optical base, a leans holding member 7 for holding an objective lens 8 is mounted on the upper surface and a case body for a light receiving and emitting unit 110 is constituted. Inside the case body, a first reflection mirror 4, a luminous flux separation element 5, a 1/4 wavelength plate 9, a second reflection mirror 6 and the objective lens 8 are loaded. A light receiving and emitting module 3 is mounted on the heat radiation plate 2 from above the optical base 1 before attaching the lend holding member 7. |
