PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter-receiver in a spread spectrum frequency modulation system with a bit error rate reduced and a transmission and reception system. SOLUTION: A transmitter consists of a symbol string transforming means 1, a Fourier transforming means 2, a spread means 3, an inverse Fourier transforming means 4 and a multicarrier modulating means 5. Complex symbol strings SIS (m) of a digital signal in a plurality m (m is a positive integer) of subscribers are respectively inputted to the symbol string transforming means 1. The symbol string transforming means 1 rearranges m (m is an integer) kinds of and n (n is an integer) complex symbol strings T (m and n) in each complex symbol. The Fourier transforming means 2 performs Fourier transformation of the results, the spread means 3 randomly performs switching in each symbol, the inverse Fourier transforming means 4 performs inverse Fourier transformation, and the multicarrier modulating means 5 transmits the complex symbol strings as a signal SOS (m) from an unillustrated antenna. |
