PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a prompt payment through communication lines while assuring security and without collecting or storing gift certificates. SOLUTION: This system includes a gift certificate issuance company 20 which stores and controls base members 12 for the gift certificate, a plurality of regional centers 22 which receives the supply of the base members 12, gift certificate shops 24 which receive the supply of the base members 12 from the plurality of regional centers 22, prepare the gift certificates, and sell the gift certificates to customers 50, goods stores 60 which exchange the gift certificates with desired goods of the customers 50, and a data center 30 which is connected so that data may be delivered and received to/from the gift certificate issuance company 20, the gift certificate shops 24, and the goods stores 60 through the communication lines. |
