PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which is most suitable for a prepayment system. SOLUTION: The digital camera is equipped with a photoelectric converting means (12, 13) which photoelectrically converts a subject image and outputs an image signal, an image processing means 21 which processes the image signal as specified and outputs a digital image, and a rewritable storage means 20 which stores a previously written photographable frame number and the digital image signal.
