PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of reducing the burden on an operator because an error end due to the full memory can be minimized in storing image data of memory transmission and also because the operator can recognize what has to be done before redoing image data storage in memory transmission because the operator can recognize an error factor even in the case a full memory error occurs. SOLUTION: Residual memory quantity is confirmed when storing the image data, a reading operation is stopped before the memory becomes full, and waiting is performed until residual memory quantity is increased. In the case of deciding that the residual memory quantity is not increased, image data are stored until the memory becomes full, and when the memory becomes full, the cause of memory full is displayed so that the operator can recognize the memory full.
