An electronic imaging system having a frame (1) being configured to be supported on the ear, nose, and face of a user without eyewear. The frame (1) has a tample portion (5), a face portion (6), anda nose bridge (7) for supporting a display unit (50). The system provides many of the functions and advantages of known eyewear-mounted displays, but without requiring the user to wear spectacles. The system can be fit to a wide range of users without prescriptive correction or other customization.
