PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control apparatus of public telecommunication terminal equipment (e.g. a public telephone) that can automatically turn ON/OFF the power of the public telecommunication terminal equipment at a set time. SOLUTION: This invention provides the power control apparatus of the public telecommunication terminal equipment disposed in every place and having a power control program incorporated therein so that the public telecommunication terminal equipment itself can turn ON/OFF the power supplied thereto in an automatic way. Further, a remote server can update the power management program and power management setting information built in the public telecommunication terminal equipment and the remote serve can read the power management setting information set to the public telecommunication terminal equipment. Thus, the inconvenience for a manager to directly pay a visit to places where the public telecommunication terminals are installed in order to turn ON/OFF and drive the public telecommunication terminal equipment disposed in every place can be eliminated. |
