PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video telephone and its display method that can display images of a talker and an opposite party of the talker in an easy to see manner even employing a small sized display device. SOLUTION: The video telephone includes; a camera 1 for photographing an image of a talker; a microphone 2 for picking up utterance of the talker; a receiver 5 for receiving signal of an image of the talker opposite party and voice uttered by the talker opposite part; a display device 6 for displaying the image; and a control means 7 for splitting the screen of the display device 6 into two display areas 6a, 6b and allowing the display device 6 to display the image of the talker on the one display area 6a and to display the image of the talker opposite party on the other display area 6b, and the control means 7 is characterized in that it allows the display device 6 to display moving pictures tilted toward each of the display areas 6a, 6b onto the display areas 6a, 6b. |
