ADAPTIVE CAMERA AND ADAPTIVE CAMERA SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive camera which can obtain an optimum image even when a light part is smaller than the image size and a system which uses the camera. SOLUTION: The adaptive camera which obtains the optimum image by controlling the compression curve and integration time of the dynamic range of an imaging means according to the lightness of a subject is equipped with an object area setting part which sets as an object area an area getting saturated in a photographic area and a re-correction part which detects lightness information in the object area and controls the imaging means according to the lightness information. The system uses the adaptive camera.
