PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely provide a customer visiting facilities with various data communication services free of charge by utilizing a portable telephone carried by the customer. SOLUTION: A POS terminal 1A is provided with a radio communication interface able to cope with Bluetooth (R) and can transmit and receive data by radio to/from the portable telephone 9 loaded with the radio communication interface of the same specifications and positioned inside the communication range 8A of the radio communication interface. Then, when the portable telephone 9 loaded with the radio communication interface of the same specifications is positioned inside the communication range 8A of the radio communication interface, a menu of various kinds of provision services executable by the portable telephone is distributed to the portable telephone 9 by radio communications. Also, when receiving a service provision requesting command from the portable telephone 9 to which the menu of various kinds of the provision services is distributed, program data for having the provision services are downloaded to the portable telephone 9 by the radio communications. |
