PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of reducing power while a TS null packet is reproduced or RS decoding processing does not have to be performed. SOLUTION: A TS packet reproducing means 13a outputs a null TS signal NTS showing a TS null (invalid) packet for time adjustment if a TS packet to be reproduced is the TS null packet, and is provided with a clock signal supply stop means 300 arranged on a supply path of a clock signal used in at least one circuit part on a stage subsequent to the TS packet reproducing means 13a in an error correction/decoding block 12 and for stopping the supply of a clock signal CLK 2 in the case of receiving the null TS signal NTS.
