PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance digital camera at low cost. SOLUTION: A digital camera system comprises the digital camera which transmits Raw data from an image pickup part and information of an image pickup part by radio, and an image storage device which receives them through the Internet and performs interpolation, white balance adjustment, outline emphasis, thinning, and compression, and storage. On the digital camera side, thumbnails and images of small image size for reproduction are generated by thinning out the same Raw data and stored while related to the sent Raw data. The digital camera is constituted as a digital camera integrated type portable telephone and the functions of the portable telephone originally has are diverted to the transmission of images, the storage, display, etc., of the thinned-out data, etc. The portable telephone integrated type digital camera is provided with a mode wherein the face of a criminal is forcibly photographed and sent when a digital key is operated to obtain an antitheft function. The digital camera of a folding type is folded also back to back.
