PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select the file format of attribute information attached to transmitted actual data from general-purpose file formats conforming to the application of a user, such as text, HTML and XML, and transmit the actual data with the attribute information attached in every data format not limited to a static image such as a photograph but including a voice and a dynamic image. SOLUTION: A data transmitter has an inputting means for capturing actual data and attribute information, an actual data converting means for editing the actual data into an arbitrary file format, a storing means for storing at least the actual data and the attribute information, a registering means for registering the actual data and the attribute information by associating them, an outputting means for outputting the actual data and the attribute information, a data format converting means for converting the data format of the attribute information, a transmission file generating means for archive-compressing the actual data and the converted attribute information to generate a transmission file, and a transmitting means for transmitting the transmitted file.
